In loving memory / of / Wilfred / the beloved son of Thomas and Ada / Ennis / who died Feby 23rd 1930 / aged 20 years / also Mary their beloved daughter/who died April 6th 1929/aged 26 years / AT REST

(on kerb stone)
Also Pte William Ennis son of the aforesaid / killed in Action in France Sept 23rd 1917, aged 22 years.

William Ennis is also remembered on the Darfield Cenotaph Welfare Park, Darfield  and the Middlewood Shrine, Darfield

William Ennis is buried at the Bleuet Farm Cemetery in Belgium and is remembered on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website.
