In loving memory of / Pte. Walter Jobling / the dearly beloved son  /  of William Charles and / Elizabeth Jobling  / who was killed in action and / buried at Dickiebusch Germany / May 8th 1918 / aged 22 years  /  He answered his country's call  / also Thomas their beloved son / who died August 10th 1926 / aged 49 years /  His End was Peace /  Also the above named / Elizabeth Jobling / who died Feby 11th 1927 / aged 74 years /  At Rest /  also the above named / William Charles Jobling /who died October 4th 1955 / aged 85 years / Grant them O Lord eternal rest.

Walter Jobling was buried at Dickiebusch but is now remembered on the Tyne Cot Memorial and is commemorated on the Commonwealth War Grave Commission website.

Walter Jobling is remembered on the Processional Cross All Saints Darfield and on the All Saints WW1 Memorial Tablet Darfield and on the Darfield and District Conservative Roll of Honour and on the Darfield, Middlewood Shrine, A635 Doncaster Road, Darfield and on the  Darfield Cenotaph, Welfare Park, Church Street

In loving memory of / Annie / the beloved wife of / Thomas Woodyatt / who died 22nd January 1917 / aged 22 years / she is not dead but sleeping / also Mary Ann Polly / the devoted wife of the above / who died January 5th 1947 / aged 45 years / At Rest /  Also of George Hukin the beloved son / of Thomas & Mary Woodyatt / who was killed in action nr. the Dardanelles / May 6th 1915 aged 23 years / He nobly answered duty's call / His life he gave for one and all.

George Hukin Woodyatt is remembered on the Helles Memorial in Turkey and commemorated on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website.

George is also remembered on the following  Darfield Village Club Roll of Honour  and on the Darfield Middlewood Shrine Doncaster Rd and on the  Darfield Cenotaph Welfare Park Church St.

Sacred to the Memory of / Abraham /  Husband of Ann Shaw of Gt. Houghton /  who died July 16th 1934 aged 73 years / Also Frank their son Sergt. 10th L&Y Reg /  fell at Arras July 27th 1917 aged 24 years /  also Ann wife of the above Abraham Shaw /  who died Oct 25th 1938 aged 75 years. / Treasured Memories.

In / loving memory of / my dear husband /  (Seaman) Frank Purple / killed by enemy action 11th March 1941 / aged 23 years / R.I.P / A bitter grief, a shock severe / to part with him we loved so dear / our loss is great / we'll not complain / but hope in heaven we meet again.

Frank Purple is buried here in Darfield Cemetery and remembered on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website.

Frank is also remembered on the All Saints Church WW2 Memorial Tablet, Darfield and on the  WW2 Roll of Honour in Maurice Dobson Museum, Darfield.

In Loving Memory Of / Oswald / the dearly beloved husband of / Amelia Barraclough / who died Oct. 16th 1920 / aged 54 years / also Crossland, the only / beloved son of the above / who died from wounds / received in action in Palestine / May 2nd 1918, aged 24 years / also Millicent Edna / their daughter / who died in infancy / Peace Perfect Peace.

He is remembered on the Barnsley, St Mary's Church, Combined Memorial and on the Barnsley, Holgate Grammar School Old Boys -WW1 and on the War Memorial at St Peter's Church in Wallsend in Northumberland (now Tyne and Wear). 

Crossland Barraclough is buried in the Jerusalem War Cemetery Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

In Loving Memory of / George Peel, Butcher of this Town / the beloved husband of Hannah Peel/ who died Octr 27th 1903 aged 49 years / Also the aforementioned Hannah Peel / who died November 25th 1923 /
Also George Smith, the dearly loved grandson of the aforementioned / who was accidentally killed in France and interred at / Vignacourt Cemetery August 15th 1918, Aged 18 years. 

Note:
Son of Tom & Mary Margaret Smith.

He is also remembered on the Barnsley, Holgate Grammar School Old Boys - WW1 Memorial Plaque in the Cooper Gallery, the Grammar School having been demolished.

George is buried in the Vignacourt British Cemetery and commemorated on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website.
