In Loving Remembrance Of / our dear mother Annie Wilkinson / who died Nov 12th 1918 aged 57 years / Also her loving husband Alfred Wilkinson / who died August 23rd 1935 aged 72 years // Also Lily Wilkinson / who died Dec. 11th 1961 aged 74 years / "In heavenly love abiding" // To the memory of Pte Arthur Foster / beloved husband of Amelia Foster / killed in action in France Oct. 12th 1917 / aged 26 years / Also their grandchildren / Donald & Margaret Holden.


He is also remembered on the Mapplewell and Staincross War Memorial, Blacker Road, Mapplewell and on the Salvation Army Memorial Plaque from Wellington Street.

Arthur Foster is remembered on the Tyne Cot memorial  and commemorated  on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website.

Bailey brother of the above / killed in action July 1st 1916, aged 20 years / Also George Bailey, father of the above sons / who died April 12th 1925 aged 65 years / Also the above named Rebecca Bailey / who died July 17th 1930 aged 70 years.

Frank Leslie Bailey is remembered on the St Edwards Church Memorial Plaque Kingstone

Frank Leslie Bailey is buried in the Serre Road Cemetery No 3 Puisieux and commemorated on the  Commonwealth War Graves Commission website.

Harold Raymond Oldham Hebdon is remembered on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial and is commemorated on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website.

Note: This memorial is an unusual one, the records state that he was a civilian, yet his inscription states that he was lost at sea, during the 2nd World War.
