In Loving Remembrance Of / our dear mother Annie Wilkinson / who died Nov 12th 1918 aged 57 years / Also her loving husband Alfred Wilkinson / who died August 23rd 1935 aged 72 years // Also Lily Wilkinson / who died Dec. 11th 1961 aged 74 years / "In heavenly love abiding" // To the memory of Pte Arthur Foster / beloved husband of Amelia Foster / killed in action in France Oct. 12th 1917 / aged 26 years / Also their grandchildren / Donald & Margaret Holden.


He is also remembered on the Mapplewell and Staincross War Memorial, Blacker Road, Mapplewell and on the Salvation Army Memorial Plaque from Wellington Street.

Arthur Foster is remembered on the Tyne Cot memorial  and commemorated  on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website.
