Photographs by Colin Rowlands who also told us,
"The base which you see on the photos used to support a stone cross bearing the inscription “In Loving Memory”, but that has disappeared. As far as I know the grave never had a stone surround. After David Maurice died in 1915 his brother William (my father) went into the army in 1916 and happily he survived."

Left Side: David Maurice / their son who fell in / action in France / March 12th 1915 / aged 19 years.
Right Side: Louisa / their daughter / died May 1st 1916.
David also is remembered on Le Touret Memorial in France and commemorated on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website.
