In loving memory of Samuel Brown  / who died June 20th 1899 / aged 50 years /  also Margaret the / beloved wife of the above / who died March 25th 1908 / aged 55 years / Also John E. Bell the / beloved son of the last named /  who died May 19th 1919 / aged 61 years /  Also L/CpL F.H. Laister,  M.T.A.S.C / beloved husband of V Laister / killed in Belgium Octr 21st 1917 / aged 24 years /  also son H.W.Brown R.N. / beloved husband of E Brown / who went down on the E.20 / which was sunk in the sea of Mamora / Novr 5th 1915 aged 22 years / Grandsons of the first two named.

Francis (Frank) Laister is remembered on the St Peters Church Doncaster Rd Memorial Plaque and the St John's Church, Barnsley - Oak Memorial Tablet

F.H. Laister is buried in the Ypres Reservoir Cemetery in Belgium and is remembered on the  Commonwealth War Graves Commission website. 

Henry W Brown is remembered on the Worsborough Combined Memorial, St Thomas And St James Church, Worsborough Dale
