In loving memory of Hannah /  beloved wife of Elisha Tyler /  who died February 17th 1923 aged 65 years /  At Rest  /  also the above named Elisha Tyler /  who died April 18th 1931 aged 75 years  /   Reunited  /   Also a dear mother Florence Armitage  / daughter of the above who died Feb 13th 1969 aged 87 years / also a dear father George Armitage / husband of Florence killed in France / May 9th 1917 aged 26 years /  Reunited.

George is remembered on the Worsborough Common, St Lukes Church, Highstone Road  War Memorial.
 
George Armitage is buried in Duisans British Cemetery, Etrun in France and commemorated on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website.
