In loving memory of / Edward / the beloved son of / Thomas and Amelia Ryan / who died January 16th 1913 / aged 19 years. /  Also Corporal William Ford / son of the above who was killed in action July / 2nd 1916 aged 32 years /  Also George Ryan beloved son of the above / who was killed in action July / 7th 1916 aged 20 years /. God Be with You. / Also the above named Amelia Ryan / who died August 25th 1928 aged 70 years.

William Ford is also remembered on St John's Church Barnsley, Oak Memorial Tablet

William Ford is interred in the Doullens Communal Cemetery Ex.1 in France and is commemorated on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission  website.
